At DTC Drones, we are committed to ensuring our customers have a smooth and satisfactory shopping experience. We understand that there may be occasions when a return or cancellation is necessary, and our policies are designed to be transparent, fair, and compliant with Indian laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the eCommerce Rules, 2020.
Return Window & Eligibility: Customers may request a return of eligible items within 30 days of delivery. To qualify for a return, the product must be unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required, and the item must show no signs of use, soldering, modification, flight, or damage. This ensures that the product can be safely restocked or returned to inventory.
Non-Returnable Items: Some items cannot be returned under any circumstances. This includes batteries that have been charged or used, DIY kits that have been opened or partially assembled, custom-built drones or special orders, mounted propellers, and products with broken manufacturer seals. These items are considered non-returnable due to safety, hygiene, and customization reasons.
Defective on Arrival (DOA): In the rare event that a product is defective upon arrival, customers must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery by emailing dtcdrones@gmail.com, along with photo or video evidence of the defect. If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, DTC Drones will repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion. In such cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
Return Process: To initiate a return, customers should contact our support team to receive detailed instructions. Unless the return is due to a DOA product, the customer is responsible for shipping costs. Proper packaging is required to prevent damage during transit. Returns that are not packaged correctly may be rejected or incur additional charges.
Inspection & Refunds: Once a returned item is received, it will be inspected for compliance with the return policy. Approved returns will be refunded within 7–10 business days. Items that do not meet the policy requirements may be rejected, though customers can appeal rejected returns by contacting our support team.
Cancellation Policy: Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of placement provided it has not yet been shipped. After shipment, the order cannot be canceled, and the standard return policy applies.
